Tucson Show Guide 2025 cover

Golden Peak Media finalized the sale of the Tucson Show Guide to Xpo Press, publisher of Tucson and Denver EZ-Guides.

Since the ‘90s the Tucson Show Guide has been an essential resource for navigating the annual Tucson Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Showcase—as well as a key resource year-round. From maps, floorplans, and exhibitor listings to the best places to visit around town, the 215+ page Tucson Show Guide was an invaluable resource whether attending the event in person, or not.

“This spring the owner of Xpo Press and I began discussing ways to work together on our show guides in Tucson. I admire the digital experience he created, and he respects the print publication we produce. Together we recognized the best way to serve Tucson’s community of attendees, vendors, and show producers in the long term was to join forces.” states David Saabye, Chief Executive Officer at Golden Peak Media. The sale was completed last week.

“This purchase brings together two well-loved guides that have competed fiercely. Both have been distributed during the annual Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase to help the tens of thousands of show attendees navigate the 40+ shows.” states Brad Hicks, Xpo Press Owner & Tucson EZ-Guide Publisher.

Hicks continued, “I was always impressed with the longevity and attractive layout and design of the Tucson Show Guide, and its staff persons whom I met over the years were always friendly and cordial. Together, the team at Golden Peak Media and I recognized the extraordinary potential of our guides coming together to bring forth the most comprehensive information source for attendees, exhibitors, and show promoters in Tucson. This discussion eventually led to our decision to purchase the Tucson Show Guide assets outright. I wish Golden Peak Media all the best and great success with all they do in the quilting, crafting, and fine art sectors.”

Golden Peak Media is pleased to have the Tucson Show Guide join the well-fitting Xpo Press family, and thanks all the editors, designers, sales reps, show producers, and contributors to the Tucson Show Guide for their dedication and service over the years.
